Lost Followers!

Grannie Annie recently reported that she had lost one of her followers and was anxious to contact whoever that follower was. To lose one follower is upsetting, but this morning I find that I have suddenly lost five followers in one day! i hope I am not being boycotted for some strange reason? Or has my blog become too boring? Whatever the reason, it is disappointing. Of course i am aware that lots of bloggers are spending more time on Facebook these days and so some of my followers may have found that they have had to cut down on the number of blogs that they follow. Whatever the reason, I am grateful for those who are still with me and I will try to post some interesting blogs in the future - when time allows.

I have also lost three followers this morning so perhaps there is a glitch of some sort in the system

There has to be a glitch. I am not listed among your followers and I didn't do anything. I will see if I can re-follow!

Bless you both for that! That has cheered me up at a time when I am snowed under with writing articles for the Media re our centenary events. At least we have had a small lesson in humility, FP!

One of my friends also commented on her blog yesterday that she too had lost 7 followers. Clearly, there must be something going on...

Thanks, Amy. I hope they can sort it out soon.

Whatever the glitches, you've got a special blogging niche Olive.

And reading your post reminded me that I needed to re-install the 'FriendConnect' gadget on my blog, so you did me a favour. Thanks.

Thanks, Richard. That's good to know. I'm having a whale of a time with some of our local Media!
In one case, the Features Editor phoned me with a query 10 days ago and I've been looking each day for the report of the concert given three weeks ago by the National Methodist Youth Brass Band without finding it - and then tonight that same newspaper informs its readers that the concert is this coming Sunday! So I've had to warn our church steward that she may get some enquiries about booking! The other two local papers have already reported on it!

I see that the invitation to 'Follow or Sign in' has just appeared above the Followers on my blog, so it looks as though the door is open again now!

ifI'm one ... I've been on a silent retreat you know. Blogging wasn't an option.

I read what you write (at least once a week) and enjoy it

Keep posting ... and keep praying for all your visitors. It's very much needed by this one at least!

blessings xx

Thanks, Lorna. Yes, you are one of my missing followers, so you may need to sign in again when you are free to do so. I knew you were still with me in spirit - and, of course, you KNOW you have my prayers. I think you're amazing to be living your life in two countries simultaneously, so to speak! God bless.
